The Dispatch is reporting that Pryce has won the Ohio 15th, although her shrinking margin of 1,054 votes has triggered an automatic recount. Sammy has all the breaking news. There is also an interesting discussion over at the BSB.
Kilroy's race typified one of Ohio's biggest problems - gerrymandered districts. Improved ground games, record setting donations, and heightened public awareness all broke on the jagged jigsaw borders of these preserves for Congressional incumbents. When Democrats went statewide, we were able to sweep clean the nastiness of the last decade. Our newly elected officials need to focus on running fair elections, promoting good businesses and providing education for all Ohioans.
If they take care of that, they'll be sitting pretty, like Marlin Perkins in the jeep.
